A wardrobe built around different silhouettes
The idea behind this selection was a relatively simple wardrobe with pieces that could be mixed easily. Its variety comes from shape and surface: cropped tops, a softshell jacket, bootcut and baggy denim, and two more colourful knitted pieces.
The wearer’s measurements are 175 cm and 55 kg. Usual sizes are listed as S for T-shirts and S/28/30 for trousers. In the outfit photos, that gives useful context for the shorter tops and the way the two denim cuts sit on the same person. The difference between those trousers becomes more informative than a label saying both are a small size.
The shipping figures and the weight difference
The shipping breakdown records US$76 for 4.9 kg through Hubbuy, using DHL Economy, with delivery in 12 days. The haul headline describes 5.5 kg, so there are two weight figures in the account. The freight amount here is paired with the explicit 4.9 kg shipping entry.
A destination is not supplied in that breakdown and is not added here. Keeping the route name, the recorded freight weight and the actual delivery time together is more useful than assuming this shipment followed the same destination as another haul.
Stone Island softshell: a strong start
The softshell jacket cost ¥260 and received a 9.5/10 assessment. Fabric feel and stitching were the main positives. The badge logo was considered reasonably good, with room for improvement rather than a claim that it was flawless.
It was one of the strongest value judgements in the selection, with interest in other colours if available. In the outfit photographs, the jacket provides a compact upper layer above the longer trouser line. That is the useful visual comparison here; the arrival description does not establish a tested weather-protection rating.
Two Reaven shirts, two different fabric impressions
The ¥125 cropped shirt received a 9/10 assessment. It was described as slightly substantial cotton with a cropped fit that matched the intended silhouette. The shorter length is a central part of its appeal, rather than an incidental detail hidden by the price.
The ¥59 Haley shirt had a different balance of strengths and weaknesses. Its fabric felt lighter and more sheer than expected from the retail comparison, while the stitching, tags and fit were well received. The assessment was 8/10.
Those two reactions should remain separate. Enjoying the cropped shirt’s fabric does not mean the second shirt was judged equally substantial. The photos and wearing notes are most useful when each garment keeps its own fit and material impression.
Bootcut and baggy denim do not produce the same result
The ¥149 Reaven bootcut jeans were among the most enthusiastically praised items. The feedback focused on the fit and relatively light denim. Their outline was also a recurring point of interest in the outfit photos: the lower leg contributes to the whole silhouette rather than simply ending below a cropped top.
The ¥179 99based jeans drew praise for their details, especially the rear patch, but the fit did not suit the wearer as well. Attractive detailing and a less successful personal fit can coexist in the same review.
This is the most useful comparison in the haul. Two jeans can both look interesting in a product photo yet work differently on the same wearer. The stronger response to the bootcut pair is a preference shown in these outfits, not a general verdict that one denim shape will suit everyone.
Experiment Five: the less convincing piece
The ¥85 Experiment Five shirt received a 7/10 assessment. The print was considered good, but the fabric seemed lighter than the retail appearance suggested. The embroidered logo was in the expected area yet slightly crooked, and that uneven detail remained visible enough to mention.
This is a more qualified result than the reactions to the denim and knitwear. The price did not turn it into a perfect item, and a good print did not cancel out the fabric and embroidery reservations. Keeping those details in the account makes the selection more useful than a list in which every arrival is described as exceptional.
House of Errors knitwear supplied the colour
The rugby-knit sweater cost ¥180. Its arrival notes were particularly enthusiastic about softness, the graphic finish and the cropped shape. A dust bag was included. It was one of the most positively received pieces in the selection.
The ¥185 knitted polo received a 10/10 assessment, with strong feedback on the fabric feel and the execution of its design. Its colour was a particular part of the appeal for autumn wear.
Together, these pieces offer a different direction from the quieter cropped shirts and softshell. The selection stays fairly simple in its number of garments while allowing the knitwear to carry more of the visual interest. The outfit photos show how those stronger colours sit alongside the denim choices.
The useful contrast is between details and personal fit
This haul does not end with one uniform verdict. The bootcut jeans and House of Errors pieces attracted the most enthusiasm. The 99based jeans had appealing details but a less successful fit on the wearer. The Experiment Five shirt had a visible embroidery issue despite a positive reaction to the print.
That mixture is the reason to look through the full gallery. It lets the cropped lengths, trouser shapes and knitwear colours be compared in actual outfits, while the arrival notes keep the individual strengths and reservations attached to the right garment.
