Quick answer
Match the photos to your order first. Check the model, selected size and colour, then examine relevant angles and measurements. If an important detail is hidden, request that view before approving shipment. A photo count is not a passed-inspection result.
Identify the order before judging the image
Keep your order number, selected variant and quantity beside the gallery. Compare the item label with the option you bought. A product photo used for discovery, a seller’s promotional image and a photograph of your received order serve different purposes.
If the reference title and visible product disagree, resolve that mismatch before relying on either. For your own warehouse arrival, confirm the record belongs to the correct order and contains every purchased item. A gallery of another size or colour cannot settle the decision for yours.
Know what a reference photograph can show
A side-view image can help compare shape, colour panels and visible construction. It cannot establish a hidden size label, an insole measurement or details outside the frame. Use each image for the evidence it contains instead of filling in the missing views with assumptions.

Understand routine inspection and sealed packaging
Hubbuy’s published order-inspection rules, checked on 15 October 2026, focus on visible style, quantity, colour, size and model information. Its scope explanation says clothing-size checks use the label or hangtag. That does not establish the garment’s measured dimensions or how it will fit you. Normal colour differences, size tolerances and actual-use performance are outside the stated scope.
The rules limit checks for sealed goods and specified sealed non-clothing, non-bag and non-shoe products to the exterior and packaging information. Hidden contents cannot be confirmed without the appropriate opening permission and available service. Keep seals, tags and packaging intact until that decision is made.
Electronics are not switched on for a functional test under the published scope. An exterior check cannot establish authenticity, specialist performance, material composition or long-term durability. A warehouse status or a high photo count is not a certificate covering those questions.
| Check | Useful evidence | What remains unconfirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Correct variant | Order option, label and complete-item view | Fit without comparable measurements. |
| Quantity and accessories | Expected item list and unpacked views | Hidden contents of an unopened package. |
| Visible condition | Identifying view plus a clear close-up | Concealed faults or long-term reliability. |
| Sealed goods | Exterior condition and model label | Internal components unless an appropriate check is agreed. |
Free photos, extra views and detailed requests do different jobs
The public homepage advertises free QC images. Start by opening the actual gallery and identifying what remains unanswered. If the size label is visible but a chest measurement is missing, another general front photo will not answer the fit question.
Ask for a named view, measurement or inspection task. If an extra-photo, video or detailed-inspection service is offered, confirm its current price, per-item or per-parcel basis, and agreed scope before requesting it. Paying for a service does not automatically turn a visual check into authentication or laboratory testing.
For a sneaker, a request might be: “Please measure this order’s insole from heel to toe with both ends of the ruler visible.” For a bag, it could be an interior view showing the compartments and included strap. Choose the evidence that resolves the decision, rather than buying the largest number of images.
| Evidence or request | Useful for | What it does not settle |
|---|---|---|
| Routine warehouse gallery | Visible identity, label, quantity and apparent condition | A hidden dimension or another order’s actual fit. |
| Additional photo or measurement | A specified label, part, angle or ruler view | Details outside the requested view. |
| Detailed inspection or video, if offered | An agreed task or visible movement recorded by the service | Authenticity, material composition or long-term performance unless separately established. |
Forwarded receipts need their own inspection check
Hubbuy’s forwarding scope describes accepting suitable parcels, weighing and recording them, with severely damaged packaging potentially refused or returned. Do not infer a complete item-by-item purchase inspection from a signed forwarding receipt alone.
If you bought the goods yourself, establish which opening, counting and photo checks are available for that forwarded parcel. Compare the actual service with your expected item list before using the receipt as evidence that every variant or accessory has been checked.
Request the views appropriate to the product
Different products need different evidence. A bag’s closure and strap attachment are more useful for a completeness question than another distant front photograph. A garment needs a measurement when fit is uncertain. Keep any opening or handling request consistent with return eligibility and sealed-product conditions.
| Product | Useful views | Question answered |
|---|---|---|
| Shoes | Both side profiles, toe, heel, soles and labels | Do both shoes match the intended model, colour and size? |
| Clothing | Front, back, size label and a flat measurement | Is this the chosen version, and is its measured size suitable? |
| Bags | Exterior, interior, closure, straps and attachments | Are the visible parts and accessories present? |
| Accessories | Complete item, label and a dimension or length view | Does the type and size match the selected option? |
Compare measurements and visible condition
Ask for a tape or ruler to be visible at both ends of the requested measurement. Specify whether you mean flat chest width, full circumference, body length or insole length. Use consistent units and compare with an item you already wear; the size guide contains worked examples.
For condition, combine a close-up with a wider view identifying the affected item. A dark patch may be a lighting effect; a second view can clarify it. Conversely, a clear hole or detached component needs a focused follow-up. Visual evidence does not establish material composition, authenticity or durability.
Request a missing size check
“For this order’s size-L hoodie, please photograph the size label and measure the flat chest width from armpit seam to armpit seam. Show both ends of the tape and keep the garment flat.” This asks for measurable evidence rather than a general quality opinion.

Decide whether to accept, recheck or request after-sales
Accept when the evidence answers your essential questions and the received item matches your choice. Request a recheck when a necessary angle, label or measurement is missing. If there is a confirmed mismatch or visible problem, pause packing and use the return and exchange guide promptly.
Keep tags and packaging while the decision is unresolved. Explain the discrepancy using the selected order option and relevant photograph, rather than only saying that the product looks wrong. Once the goods are accepted, compare packaging and timing using the shipping and consolidation guide.
- Match order, size, colour and quantity.
- Check the relevant product views and any requested measurements.
- Record any confirmed mismatch with a close-up and identifying view.
- Resolve the issue before international packing.
What if the QC count is high but the label is not visible?
Request the label view. More photos do not necessarily include the evidence needed for your question.
Can QC photos tell me whether shoes are comfortable?
They can show visible details and measurements, but cannot establish how the shoes will feel on your feet.
